ORUG Board Update

After a call for nominations for Vice-President, Treasurer and At Large Members the following people came forward for nomination. Since no one else was nominated for these positions the Board has allowed these people to assume these positions without elections.

OAUG Membership Opportunities for ORUG Members

Oracle Retail Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

The ORUG Board of Directors made the decision to combine all the special interest groups (SIGs) into two categories, one for functional information and the other for technical information. Please check the SIG pages frequently for updates:

OAUG Enhancement Request System (ERS)

How can the Oracle Retail Users Group (ORUG) influence Oracle Retail to make improvements to its current products? How can you have a say that will increase the value of your software investment by suggesting functionality improvements?

The OAUG and ORUG have developed an online submission method of gathering software enhancements and voting upon their priority before handing them over to the developers at Oracle Retail. It's just one more way to work together to accomplish a greater return on your software investment.

Anyone with an OAUG/ORUG profile can submit enhancement requests, but you must be a current member of OAUG/ORUG in order to vote. If you are not a current member and would like to join ORUG and the OAUG, please refer to the OAUG membership information page.

To access the OAUG Enhancement Request system, login using your OAUG username and password. Once you access the ERS you may update your profile, search current enhancement requests, submit a new enhancement request, and review your submitted enhancements to check the status.

  • My Profile: You can update your company and personal profile. Change your login/password.
  • Search: The search engine allows you to review current enhancement requests by keyword and application. You can also search announcements from Oracle Retail on the status of enhancements.
  • New Request: Select an Oracle Retail Application
  • My Request: Review the outline of your submitted enhancement requests and check the status.
