Oracle Development Tools User GroupODTUG, the Oracle Development Tools User Group, is an independent, not-for-profit organization designed to aid in your efforts to deliver reliable, high-quality information systems. Over 2,900 members worldwide share a common interest in Oracle Internet Developer Suite, Designer, Forms Developer, Reports Developer, Discoverer, JDeveloper, and Oracle Portal as well as methodology, software process management, analysis, and modeling, data warehousing, business process design, and Web development. Independent Oracle Users GroupThe Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) represents the voice of Oracle technology and database professionals serving nearly 20,000 database administrators, developers, architects, technical managers and other Oracle professionals throughout North America and worldwide. The IOUG empowers its members to be more productive and successful in their business and careers by delivering education, sharing best practices and providing technology direction and networking opportunities. Australian Oracle User Group (AUSOUG)The Australia New Zealand Oracle User Group was formed at the inaugural conference at Surfers Paradise in 1988. The process began to form Local User Groups in the states and territories of Australia and counties including New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. So began a dialogue with Oracle representatives about product use, development, support and quality. Local User Group activities vary from state to state but all have regular meetings with good attendances to listen to speakers from the computer industry, Oracle Corporation, and fellow users. Special Interest Groups also meet regularly in the areas of DBA, UNIX, CASE and Applications. In 1998 The New Zealand based usergroups have decided that the membership in New Zealand can be best served by having their own national user group. To this end they have formed “ONZUG” Oracle New Zealand User Group. Similarly ANZORA changed its name to The Australian Oracle User Group and chose AUSOUG as the official acronym. OAUG-Affiliated Geo and SIGsUnited Kingdom Oracle User Group (UKOUG)The UK Oracle User Group aims to support and represent its members’ by influencing the management of Oracle from a position of independent strength.
