Recording Now Available: OAUG Fusion Council Quarterly Global Update

The OAUG Fusion Council held its Quarterly Global Conference Call on July 1, 2009. Led by the Chair of the OAUG Fusion Council, Floyd Teter, of Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Co-Chair Mike Rulf, AT&T Hosting and Application Services, the hour-long open discussion addressed the major areas of concern for Oracle customers including:

  • Modules/parts of Fusion Applications that are available
  • Upgrading to 11g and upgrading to Fusion Apps
  • The order of rollout of Fusion Apps modules
  • Types of upgrades, “point solutions” and the role of AIA
  • How Hyperion plays into Fusion Apps
  • Technology component licensing and Fusion Apps
  • Extended Support Fees Waived for EBS 11.5.10 and 10gR2 DB Through 2011

OAUG Fusion Council 2009 Global Update Call Archive

The OAUG Fusion Council conducted its first 2009 Global Update Call on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Participants had the opportunity to hear about Fusion 1.0 and explore Oracle’s current view with regard to their “pillar upgrade” strategy. Q&A about Oracle Fusion with Steve Miranda: Call Transcript Available to OAUG Members

During the IOUC Product Development Committee call with Steve Miranda, Oracle Corporation senior vice president, Fusion Applications Development, on March 31, 2009, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and hear more about recent developments and anticipated advancements regarding Oracle Fusion.

On July 1, 2008, Oracle President Charles Phillips and Oracle Senior Vice President Thomas Kurian delivered a live Webcast, the BEA Welcome and Middleware Strategy Briefing, to thousands of BEA and Oracle partners and customers worldwide.
