Hi:

Perhaps your JSERV settings got out of kilter.  If for example, your DBAs
modified some of the Apache files without either correctly doing
customizations as prescribed or  merely not using the context editor to
place the settings inside the context file.

Compare the context file in your TEST system to the one in production;
should be in $APPL_TOP/admin and should be <SID>_<HOSTNAME>.xml

No, we had our users run thru their test scripts on test and had no
problems. It's almost like there's something happening in the system to
suddendly send everyone to a grinding halt.  On the test, users tested on
their own at various times, so we never had a full load on test at one time.

It seems like a resource type problem.

We finally put our RUP 6 patch in this past weeked.  Since going live, all 
week we have had a major problem.  From forms in Oracle Apps , to running 
concurrent requests, to compiling forms at the unix level, we are getting
ORA-12537: TNS: Connection closed.  It's intermittent.  I tried to compile a

form, got the error and then tried to compile the form within 10 second and 
it was successful.

Has anyone had a problem with this error ?
Any suggestions ?

Our DBA has had to bring the database down about 3 times a day.
