[OAUGNet]-Replenishment of Components For Kanban Ordered Parent

Have a user that has put a parent assembly (C-1234) on Kanban. The C-1234 has a forged casting (C-1234-Raw) that gets purchased. How do folks handle the replenishment of the C-1234-Raw? Seems that if you rely on ASCP there could be some inconsistency between when it is needed for kanban and when ASCP "thinks" it is needed.
