[OAUGNet]-New Forecast overwrites Historical Forecast

All-
How do we prevent the forecast entries from being over
written.
Currently we generate the Forecast via Forecast Rules.
When the Forecast is generated it is placed in the
Forecast name file, this over writes all the previous
history for the item.
We would like to maintain the history of the items
forecast - original and current.
Any thoughts, work arounds?
