Mapping Fusion Middleware Success: Case Studies That Lead the Way
The OAUG presents a world-class line-up of ODTUG Oracle Fusion Middleware experts and Oracle product managers to discuss Fusion Middleware development case studies and best practices. Actual projects using the Fusion Middleware suite will be presented, with an emphasis on the Oracle E-Business Suite, followed by a Q&A session with the panel of presenters. At the end of this full-day workshop, you will know what skill set is needed for successful Fusion development. This is your chance to learn from people who have real-life Fusion experience. If you want to take maximum advantage of the Oracle Fusion Middleware, you cannot afford to miss this workshop.
The Achievement Equation: Your Formula For Success
This course gives you the skills to achieve difficult personal and professional goals. It doesn’t matter whether it’s to obtain a professional certificate or implement a global system. The same techniques were used to successfully implement multi-million dollar, international projects and to conquer the exotic Great Wall of China and the brutally cold Antarctica 26.2-mile marathons. The projects were on time, within budget, and to specifications. You’ll learn how to manage (and even reduce) the stress of managing projects, while getting more from your staff and preventing employee turnover.
Presenter Tony Reed is a globetrotting business executive and 26.2-mile marathoner. He has over 25 years of managing multi-million dollar, international projects. He has run nearly 90 marathons, including the exotic Great Wall of China, the dangerous Kenyan Safaricom Lewa and the brutal Antarctica Marathons. He is one of fewer than 225 people in the world to complete marathons on all seven continents. He was an adjunct professor and taught IT, management and accounting. He has published articles and spoken at national conferences. His professional and athletic exploits were featured in many publications, including the Journal of Accountancy and Runner’s World.
Establishing and Maintaining a Project Management Office (PMO)
Unless you have unlimited resources (i.e. staff, money, and infrastructure), no project deadlines and high customer satisfaction, you don’t need a project management office (PMO). However, if youre like most managers, you must juggle resources, time, scope, quality and customer satisfaction in order to contribute to your company’s strategic plan. Unfortunately, you’re asked to implement projects with inadequate resources. This seminar shows you how to sell a PMO to the executives, develop the tools for prioritizing projects, and ensure the PMO’s success.
