The Path to Fusion

Dr. Paul Dorsey, Dulcian, Inc.

There are many parts to the Oracle Fusion architecture. There is a great deal of confusion about which parts to use for what purposes and how to get started. This session will provide an overview of the Fusion architecture, outline the possible development options available and explain the reasons for the choices our organization has made in building Fusion applications.

A Workflow-Driven Approach to ADF Applications Using BPEL - (BPEL and ADF Joining Forces)

Lucas Jellema, AMIS

One of the things BPEL can do for ADF applications is to organize workflow - taking the user through the pages based on items on her to-do list. Business processes are modeled and implemented in BPEL, consisting of automated actions and manual tasks. This presentation demonstrates how a BPEL process with human workflow tasks is created and how ADF implements the User Interface to present the to-do list based on those tasks and has the user execute them.
