The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) invites the family of Oracle Applications users to attend the most comprehensive Oracle education event of year — COLLABORATE 06: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community (previously the OAUG Connection Point® conference).
COLLABORATE 06 will be an event like you’ve never seen before — the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG, formerly International Oracle Users Group), the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) and Quest International Users Group (Quest) have combined resources and ideas to bring you a global event in one location. This event will deliver the same exceptional content you’ve come to expect from the OAUG Connection Point® conference each year. The OAUG Forum at COLLABORATE 06 brings you the best practices and user-driven training that the OAUG offers, as well as access to the greater Oracle community.
In addition, the Oracle Retail Users Group (ORUG) and the PeopleSoft Distributors’ & Manufacturers’ Users Group (DMUG) will each be hosting a conference within a conference during COLLABORATE 06. The ORUG event will take place April 23-26, 2006, and the DMUG event will take place April 24, 2006. Both of these groups will be meeting at the Radisson Opryland Hotel, located directly across from the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. - April 19, 2006: COLLABORATE 06 joins with the American Red Cross to help families rebuild from the tornadoes that have recently struck in middle Tennessee.
- April 19, 2006: In light of the recent widely-reported severe storms in Tennessee, the OAUG would like to assure COLLABORATE 06 conference attendees that the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center was not in the path of the storms and did not sustain any damage. The resort has in place a comprehensive emergency preparedness plan in the event of any severe weather.
- April 13, 2006: New this year! Plan your OAUG Forum at COLLABORATE 06 experience online. The My Briefcase feature is now available on the OAUG Conference Web site.
- March 9, 2006: The tentative conference agenda grid (PDF file, subject to change) is now available on the OAUG conference Web site.
- March 7, 2006: Pre- and post-conference workshop information is now available on the OAUG Conference Web site.
- February 27, 2006: Session abstracts for the OAUG Forum at COLLABORATE 06, including white paper presentations, training sessions, panel sessions and sessions presented by Oracle Corporation, are now available on the OAUG conference Web site.
- February 21, 2006: The call for presentations for the Oracle Retail Users Group (ORUG) conference during COLLABORATE 06 is now open. The deadline to submit a presentation is Thursday, March 9, 2006.
- January 9, 2006: Information regarding Oracle participation at COLLABORATE 06 is now available on the OAUG conference Web site.
- December 20, 2005: The call for presentations for the OAUG Forum at COLLABORATE 06 is now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted a presentation for consideration. Accepted presenters will be notified on January 13, 2006.
- December 15, 2005: The OAUG conference schedule at a glance is now available on the OAUG conference Web site.
